Concord Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics!
During your first visit to our office we want to take the time to get acquainted and gather information. This includes a thorough examination and possibly taking x-rays we feel may be required to make a complete diagnosis. At this time we will also discuss with you the nature of any necessary dental care.
We have ways of explaining procedures to children, being honest and presenting it in a manner that will not frighten them. If you child asks, “will it hurt?” We feel it is wise to say that the Dentist is your friend and will be very gentle with you. Avoid phrases such as “it won”t hurt” and “that wasn”t so bad.”
Please print and fill out our new patient forms.

We are specialists for your child’s smile!
Pediatric Dentists, like our Drs. Achong, Capozzi, Hinton, and Chiu, specialize in the treatment and prevention of dental disease, as well as the overall oral health of children. Through extra years of schooling, training, experience, and certification, a pediatric dentist is uniquely qualified to treat the dental needs of infants, children, adolescents and those with special needs.
All of our pediatric dental specialists are Board Certified.
Why Choose a Pediatric Dentist?
A pediatric patient not only has a different dentition than adults but he/she may have specific dental and behavioral needs that are unique to a child. These needs may include orthodontics, sealants, fluoride applications or home treatments, or just simply education in oral hygiene. In addition to treating existing dental problems, our office focuses on prevention through patient and parent education.
We like to feel that you and your child do not come to our office to have their ”cavities fixed” but rather to prevent them. We strive to provide all of the educational tools necessary for our patients to enjoy a cavity-free future.

Elaina LOVES going to the dentist and I am so thankful her experiences have always been so positive! Even though she has had some tooth trauma at almost 3 that called for extra visits and extensive dental care. I will never have to be the mom who DRAGS her child in kicking and screaming! In fact, she is out of the car before me saying "hurry up mom!"
What a blessing for me as her mom to have such care given my girl.
