Dr. Johnson earned his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Vermont.  While he was there, his family moved to Kentucky where he went on to receive his dental degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.  He returned to Vermont to complete a one-year general dental internship at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington, and completed his two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry through Harvard University at Boston’s Children’s Hospital Medical
Center in 1972. He then moved to Concord, New Hampshire where he began his Pediatric Dental practice.

Dr. Johnson and his wife Martha reside in Hopkinton.  They each have two grown children and five grandchildren who reside in Pennsylvania, Oregon, Montana and Alaska – so far away, but great places to visit!  They live on a portion of a former apple orchard, and Dr. Johnson enjoys working outside whenever he can.   A slight obsession with golf takes up some of his time, and membership in a ‘motorcycle gang’ called, appropriately, ‘The Geezers’, has allowed him to travel throughout the country on his beloved Harley.

Dr. Johnson is a member of seven national, state and local dental organizations, and has served as past president of the Concord Dental Society, the N.H. Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, was twice Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at the Concord Hospital, and past Concord Dental Society Trustee to the N.H. Dental Society.  He is currently a member of the New Hampshire Oral Health Coalition, an organization dedicated to improving the oral health of New Hampshire citizens.
